The Dormaa East District Chief Executive, Hon. Emmanuel Kofi Agyeman, on Tuesday, 8th August 2023 visited students who are currently writing their Basic Education Certificate Examination.

The District Chief Executive was accompanied by Mr. Philip Adom Danso- District Education Director, Oppong Yaw, Dist. Education PRO, Mrs. Linda Osei-Fobi-Head of Information service Dept, Nana Asare-District Engineer and Reindolph Afrifa-Oware, Head of Information Technology (IT) and other officials of GES.

Interacting with the candidates at the four exams centers, Mr. Kofi Agyeman said his visit was to acquaint himself with the happenings of the on-going BECE and said it was also to wish them well and encourage them to repose a lot of confidence in what they have learned.

Advising them, they should not interfere in any malpractice because their integrity must be intact.

A total of 1,312 from both public and private Basic schools across the entire Dormaa East District in the Bono Region are sitting in the exams scheduled to end 10th August 2023.

Out of the number 666 are female and 656 are males.

Mr. Agyeman further entreated the candidates to put in their maximum best to come out with flying colours, and also expressed his satisfaction with the measures put in place to ensure a successful examination.
